Almnäs Bruk
Almnäs Bruk is a very old farm with roots in the Middle Ages. The farm is mentioned for the first time in the Older Västgötalagen dated 14 August 1225, which means that we will soon celebrate our 800th anniversary.
The 3500-hectare farm is located by Lake Vättern in southern Sweden and is classified as a national cultural heritage for its cultural and natural values. We have been making farm cheese consistently since the 1830s, except for a short break between 1961 and 2008. It is our dream and ambition to make some of the world's most beloved cheeses. We are proud to state that we export our cheese worldwide.
