Organic Whole Anise Seeds 

Anise grows wild in the countries around the Middle East and does not grow more than half a meter high. The leaves emerge towards late summer and after harvest the seeds are dried and then used as the spice you hold in your hand.

The taste of anise is reminiscent of licorice and works well with fennel and cumin and goes well with them in bread, but anise is also good in fish, sauces, potatoes and even alcoholic drinks.
