Bee pollen from Greece

Bee pollen are actually clumps of male seeds and nectar from the plants visited by the bee.

This particular bee pollen is not organic, as we are otherwise careful about, but we simply could not resist including this fantastically good bee pollen in the range. It has a completely unique taste and texture compared to our other bee pollen. It is softer and has a very floral good taste.

Bees transport bee pollen in pockets on their legs to the hive. In the hive, the bee pollen is collected by the bees passing through a somewhat narrow entrance, where the bees scrape off some of the collected pollen from their legs. The bee pollen then falls into small containers below. They are not harmed by this and naturally get to keep enough pollen themselves to provide for their own.
