Denmark's new government wants to double ecologically

Denmark's new government wants to double the organic agricultural area in the country, the export of organic and the Danes' consumption of organic. The decision is the result of a unique agreement between the Danish Social Democrats, the Radical Left, the Socialist People's Party and the Unity List.

"The agreement is a historic breakthrough for organic production and we now look forward to the upcoming cooperation and development of a new Danish policy that can realize the ambitious goals and maintain Denmark as the world's leading eco-country", says Paul Holmbeck, political director for Organic National Association.
