Nordic Organic Food Fair opens soon at Malmö Fair

The Nordic region's largest trade fair for natural and ecological kicks off in Malmö 14-15 November. Many of the best natural and organic products from Sweden and the rest of the world are presented here, for more than 5000 visitors, buyers and industry professionals.

Ecologically and naturally appeals to many Swedish consumers and the market has had a fantastic development in recent years:

  • The market for organic in Sweden grew by 9,3% in 2017
  • The sales value amounted to SEK 28 billion
  • Ecologically, it is expected to continue to increase strongly over the next five years, according to Euromonitor International

Nordic Organic Food Fair contributes to the strong development by giving visiting buyers and suppliers the opportunity to find many of the best products and ideas for sustainable lifestyle, natural health and organic food.

This fantastic industry continues to grow year after year and the 2018 trade fair will be both bigger and better than ever, says trade fair manager Fiona Allen. We have new exhibitors, with many of the most innovative products on the market.

New for this year?

This year, visitors will meet a total of 500 exhibitors from around the world under two exciting new themes. The Start-Up Zone contains the latest products from 15 of the most exciting new companies. Keep track of them to stay at the forefront of news and trends. Another novelty is the Fresh Produce Market Place Area, where a large selection of organic fruit and vegetables of the highest quality from around the world is presented.

Even more international

This year, the fair has more international pavilions than ever before: Greece, Austria, Italy, Estonia, Denmark, Chile, South Korea and China. In addition, Business Sweden holds the Swedish pavilion under its export concept Try Swedish.

Inspiration

The fair is not only focused on new products. On the lecture stages, inspiring knowledge, case studies are presented and discussions are held on relevant topics and the challenges the industry faces today and of course also ideas and opportunities for the future. Come and be inspired!

To visit Nordic Organic Food Fair is very inspiring. I already knew before that there is a large amount of organic products out there, but after my visit to the fair, I strongly feel that there are no limits to what can be produced. It is quite possible to contribute to a better planet and at the same time do really good business, which is good for humanity, wildlife and the environment.
