Our products provide a high protein per penny, while the product is incredibly simple and honest: only organic beans, water, salt and a few drops of vinegar for better texture. According to both WWF and Naturskyddsföreningen, Swedish beans are one of the most climate-smart things we can eat. We offer whole canned black, white and brown beans. Brown beans have a long tradition on Öland. They even have Protected geographical indication (SGB) within the EU.

Kalle is from Germany, Elias from Öland. We studied agroecology together at SLU. Over the years we have heard many ideas about what sustainable food can be. That we need to eat more Swedish, organic legumes is a piece of advice that remains. Bönland is our way of making this possible for the consumer.
