Our organic wild blueberries come from the forests in northern Sweden, where they ripen in August.

Full-bodied wild blueberries are small and have a juicy flesh, which despite the plant's name is dark burgundy. The taste is sweet and slightly sour. 

Our blueberries are wild-growing and are picked by hand and transported directly to the production facility located in the immediate area. In the plant, the berries are cleaned and sorted and then frozen. 

The blueberries are KRAV-certified which means that the land must not have been artificially fertilized and sprayed in the last three years. No picking is permitted on the clearing for the next three years after tree planting, as the forest plants are often treated with chemical agents. The area must also not be too close to a busy road or other source of pollution. In addition, the cesium content in the soil must be controlled and must not exceed the limit values KRAV has set up. Social responsibility is also an important part of KRAVmarking.
