Cajom Pepparrot

Cajom pepparrot is still run within the family, now the 4th generation Carlssons in Fjärås who refines horseradish. Carlssons in Fjärås has been selling horseradish since 1929.

We at Cajom still grows its own horseradish, but most of it is bought by some of the other local growers and imported from Hungary. The regrowth of horseradish growers in Fjärås is unfortunately meager but Cajom really want to encourage others to start growing horseradish, we help with our knowledge and premises for washing, preparation, processing and with fridge & freezer capacity. Horseradish from Fjärås is a cultivated plant that we must nurture and preserve into the future!
