Dinkel light flour

Our stone-ground organic spelled flour is a light flour, which means that most of the bran is gone. Feel free to replace a white rolled flour with this more tasty spelled flour. It can be used for all kinds of pastries and bread and in cooking for pie doughs and pancakes.


What does stone grinding mean?

We grind all our flours in a real stone mill with horizontal stones, in one step. It is a cool process that preserves the nutrients in the flour. Of course, all our flours are free of additives. In a light flour, or sifted flour as it is also called, the bran is gone but it is still more nutritious than "ordinary" white flour. Because the flour is stone-ground, there is always some of the bran layer of the core left. Hence a more beige color. Replace all the chalk-white rolled flour with our more tasty, light stone-ground flour. This way you get both a healthier and tastier flour.
