Oat bran

Oat bran is produced by peeling and steaming whole oats. The fibrous bran is then rolled and sieved. Oat bran consists of the layer closest to the skin. Oat bran contains almost twice as much fiber as oatmeal. It also contains beta glucans. Oat bran is well suited for porridge, to sprinkle in filet and to mix in muesli. Feel free to try replacing a third of the oatmeal with oat bran for a juicy and tasty porridge.
