Saltå Havrekross is made from whole, steam-treated, hulled oats that have been cut into pieces. It is a whole grain product with both sprout and bran remaining, which is rich in dietary fiber, magnesium, iron and zinc. Good for porridge! When baking bread, 20% of the flour can be replaced by rolled oats. It makes the bread extra juicy and tasty. Also try mixing some soaked oat groats into the meatball batter. Yummy!
