This is how we work for increased exports of organic
Organic Sweden works for increased sales and exports of organic food from Sweden. In collaboration with companies and organizations with the same goals, as KRAV and Business Sweden, we are developing a national export strategy for Swedish organic food.
We conduct training, seminars and workshops for companies that want to export organic food and we participate in international fairs such as Nordic Organic Food Fair in Malmö, Biofach in Germany and NOPA in Hong Kong.
Our goal is for exports of organic food and beverages from Sweden to amount to SEK 2 billion by 2030. This corresponds to a doubling of the current level.
Support for companies that want to export
The global market for organic food is growing rapidly. Growth has been particularly clear in Europe, where sales grew by 8 percent in 2019, and important markets such as France and Germany have shown double-digit growth figures in recent years. This development has contributed to Swedish companies - small and large agricultural companies and food companies - becoming increasingly interested in exports.
