Barley flour

Saltå Kvarns barley flour is a stone-ground whole grain flour made from completely hulled barley. In contrast to wheat and rye, the grain's outer shell, the chaff, is stuck around the kernel and the grain therefore needs to be hulled before it is milled. The chaff consists mostly of cellulose and is not edible. From barley flour you can cook a fantastically good porridge and it is also good for bread and biscuits.
