Clove Whole

Clove is a well-known spice extracted from the dried buds of a tall tree. The leaves of the tree are green and elliptical with an aromatic scent. Cloves are brown-black in color and are used in cooking all over the world, especially in China. The spice is often used to flavor meat dishes and rice, and it is included in several spice mixes such as curry, garam masala and Five Spices.
