Our organic MCT oil gives an energy boost to the morning smoothie or in the afternoon when you need extra energy. The oil is both tasteless and odorless and can therefore be sneaked down most of the time! This oil is very concentrated, therefore it is gradually introduced into your diet. Start with about 1 teaspoon per day, and then gradually step up to 1 tablespoon per day. MCT stands for medium triglycerides, and our MCT oil is produced by steam distillation of organic coconut oil, which distinguishes the medium triglycerides from the rest of the coconut oil. These fats differ from other saturated fats in that they can be broken down directly in the liver. The distribution of fatty acids in our MCT oil naturally varies within these ranges: Caprylic acid: 55-65% Capric acid: 35-45% Lauric acid: 0-15%
