The moringa tree - a versatile plant with roots in history!

The Moringa tree is a versatile plant that has been used for over 2000 years and has its roots in Northwest India. It was first mentioned in Ayurvedic literature and then spread further to Egypt and Greece. There have been traces of moringa as early as 3500 years ago, when sealed jars of moringa oil were found in an Egyptian tomb from 1500 BC.

Moringa powder is made from the leaves of the tree. The leaves are dried at a low temperature and then finely ground before being filtered. The powder stays fresh for several months after the grinding process is finished.
