Quinoa from a farmer-owned cooperative high in the mountains of Peru!
Germinates and softens after a couple of hours in a water bath and can be used uncooked. Produced under fair conditions in cooperatives. You can both cook and use quinoa raw (after 2-4 hours of soaking). Mix quinoa into salads, or serve it cooked in stews, stews or in soups. Exactly the same way you would have used potatoes, couscous or the like.
