Rye sieve

Saltå Kvarns rye sieve is a finished flour mixture on Swedish grain that consists of 60% sifted wheat flour and 40% sifted rye flour. The flour is ground on a soder mill, a mill with stone rollers. The great thing about the soder mill is that it grinds the flour cold. There is thus no increase in temperature during grinding, which means that the flour retains important flavors and nutrients. Rye sieve is best suited for bread and gives a soft and good bread with a mild fine rye taste.
