Rapeseed oil
Rybs, is a relative of canola and is rich in monounsaturated fat, omega 3, omega 6 and vitamin E. Rye is hardier than canola, which makes it easier to grow in the northern parts of Sweden. Rapeseed is very similar to canola, but the plant itself is smaller and the leaves of rapeseed are green, while rapeseed has blue-green leaves. Rapeseed oil has a fresh, nutty taste, although somewhat milder than rapeseed oil. It can be used in the same way, for baking, dressing, emulsions etc
