Skogsbackens Ost
Skogsbackens cheese are made by hand with a lot of love in our own farm dairy outside Örsundsbro in Uppland.
We make the cheeses we like ourselves. The range combines mild creamy cream cheeses with refined mold cheeses and cellar-aged hard cheeses with a strong personality. In addition to cheese, we also make butter.

On Skogsbackens ost we produce around four tonnes of cheese per year, most of which is Krav-certified. This requires around 40.000 liters of milk. We get the cow's milk from which we make the cheeses from Folsberga dairy farm outside Enköping, which is of course organic. We make our cheeses in our dairy that we built ourselves. Since 2019, it has been powered by electricity from solar panels.
Everything that revolves around Skogsbackens ost is artisanal and small-scale. Since the start, we have developed our production with limited resources, but with even more perseverance. In addition to cheese, we now also produce butter, and we plan to launch more products in the future.
