Garlic powder is dried and ground garlic and fits in all dishes where fresh garlic is otherwise used. Being able to use garlic in powder form is convenient when you may not have fresh garlic at home or if you simply don't want to smell garlic on your fingers!
It gives a lovely garlic flavor that goes particularly well in dressings, sauces and marinades.
TIP: If you mix garlic with eggs and olive oil, you get aioli, mixing garlic, almonds, oil and soaked bread makes ajoblanco.
